HE Dr. Kamal Hassan Ali, Assistant Secretary General Head of the Economic Affairs Sector praised the preparations and arrangements currently carried out by the preparatory committee and technical committees of the forum. The fourth edition of the Arab Forum on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ARFREEE) and its exhibition will be held under the theme of “Sustainable Energy: Investment – Employment – Technology”,on 6-7 May 2018 in Kuwait.
The committees reviewed the completed applications of the Arab Energy Efficiency day compitition previously announced. The selected winner will receive his award and trophy at a celebration held on the side of the forum.
Besides, two coordination meetings were held for both committees at the headquarters of the League of Arab States Secretariat. The third coordination meeting will be held on 15/4/2018 in Kuwait to review inspect logistics and organizational preparations. The final agenda was also published and the forum will be host various panel discussions and papers presentation.
HE Dr. Kamal Hassan Ali, assured that the forum will have more than one side event. The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEEE) will launch its index on energy efficiency “Arab Energy Future Index – Energy Efficiency”. ESCWA also will launch its report on sustainable energy progress
ARFREEE is honored to welcome 5 ministers from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Palestine, Morocco and Kuwait who will participate at a high-level meeting.
